What is it used for?
Tantum Verde Mouthwash is used to relieve the symptoms of irritation and inflammation associated with mouth disorders such as gingivitis and stomatitis.
How does it work?
The active ingredient – the part that helps Tantum Verde do its job – is benzydamine. Benzydamine tackles pain with a dual action: it relieves the pain in your mouth, while getting to the inflammation that causes it. In clinical studies, benzydamine has been shown to reduce throat and mouth pain.
How do I take it?
You can take Tantum Verde Mouthwash in its pure form (without diluting it in water) or diluted.
- First pour 15 ml undiluted Tantum Verde Mouthwash in a measuring cup. If you want to take it diluted, add water up to the 30 ml mark.
- Then rinse or gargle in your mouth 2–3 times a day, as needed.
Do not exceed the maximum recommended amount without consulting your doctor.
Speak to your doctor if you don’t see an improvement within 3 days.
What is it made of?
The components of Tantum Verde Mouthwash are benzydamine, glycerol, ethanol (96%), saccharin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium bicarbonate, mint flavour, polysorbate 20, quinoline yellow (E104), patent blue V (E131) and purified water.
Do not take Tantum Verde Mouthwash if you are allergic to benzydamine or any of the other ingredients listed above.
