What is it used for?
Tantum Verde Spray is used to relieve the symptoms of irritation and inflammation associated with sore throat.
How does it work?
The active ingredient – the part that helps Tantum Verde do its job – is benzydamine. Benzydamine tackles pain with a dual action: it relieves the pain in your throat, while getting to the inflammation that causes it. In clinical studies, benzydamine has been shown to reduce throat and mouth pain.
How do I take it?
Before using Tantum Verde for the first time, press the spray head several times until a uniform spray is released.
For everyday use:
- First lift the nozzle that delivers the spray
- Put the nozzle in your mouth and point it at the affected area
- Then, press the spray head with your index finger
Tantum Verde Spray 0.15% is suitable for everyone, from mum and dad, to kids of all ages.
For adults and teenagers:
Administer 4–8 sprays, 2–6 times a day, as needed.
For children (6–12 years)
Administer 4 sprays, 2–6 times a day, as needed.
For children (under 6 years)
Administer 1 spray for every 4 kg of body weight, up to a maximum of 4 sprays, 2–6 times a day, as needed.
Do not exceed the maximum recommended amount without medical advice.
Speak to your doctor if you don’t see an improvement within 3 days.
What is it made of?
The components of Tantum Verde Spray are benzydamine, ethanol 96%, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, mint flavour, saccharin, sodium hydrogen carbonate, polysorbate 20 and purified water.
Do not use Tantum Verde Spray if you are allergic to benzydamine or any of the other ingredients listed above.
