What are they used for?
Tantum Verde Lozenges are used to relieve the symptoms of pain and irritation associated with sore throat.
How do they work?
The active ingredient – the part that helps Tantum Verde do its job – is benzydamine. Benzydamine tackles pain with a dual action: it relieves the pain in your throat, while getting to the inflammation that causes it. In clinical studies, benzydamine has been shown to reduce throat and mouth pain.
How do I take them?
You only need to take one lozenge, 3 times a day. Children aged 6 to 11 years must take the product under the supervision of an adult.
Do not exceed the maximum recommended amount.
Speak to your doctor if you don’t see an improvement within 3 days.
What are they made of?
The components of Tantum Verde Lozenges are:
Mint: Benzydamine, Isomalt (E 953), Aspartame (E951), Levomenthol, Citric acid monohydrate, Lemon flavour, Mint flavour, Quinoline yellow (E104), Indigotin dye (E132).
Honey Orange: Benzydamine, Isomalt (E 953), Citric acid monohydrate, Orange flavour, Honey flavour, Levomenthol, Acesulfame potassium, Quinoline yellow (E 104), Sunset yellow (E 110).
Lemon: Benzydamine, Isomalt (E 953), Aspartame (E951), Citric acid monohydrate, Lemon flavour, Mint flavour, Quinoline yellow (E104), Indigotin dye (E132).
Eucalyptus: Benzydamine, Isomalt (E 953), Acesulfame potassium, Citric acid monohydrate, Eucalyptus oil, Levomenthol, Quinoline yellow (E 104), Indigotin dye (E 132).
Do not take Tantum Verde Lozenges if you are allergic to benzydamine or any of the other ingredients listed above.
